This family-friendly house is situated in the village of Schmitten in the canton of Grisons. The village is located at an altitude of 1300 m on the road connecting Davos and Lenzerheide. The Albula Valley, which is located in the nature park "Parc Ela", is surrounded by a beautiful, distinctive world of mountains. In both summer and winter there are many activity options and possibilities for simple relaxation.
The house has four double bedrooms, a living room, two kitchens and three bathrooms. Two bathrooms are equipped with a bath/WC and one with a shower and WC. With an additional sofa bed, one bedroom offers accommodation for up to two additional people, meaning that a total of ten people can be accommodated. There is a terrace and a balcony. A garage is located in front of the house. Other cars may be parked in the public car park in Schmitten (150 m away). The large kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. It also has a wood stove.
Dogs are welcome for an extra charge.

Schmitten (Albula) is located directly on the Davos – Lenzerheide-Chur postbus route. The postbus stop is 5 min. on foot from the holiday apartment.
With its magnificent mountains, the idyllic ski paradise that is the Albula Valley in the canton of Grisons invites you to take a winter holiday. The ski resorts of Davos, which are equipped with modern lifts and first-class slopes, as well as the ski regions of Lenzerheide/Valbella (known from the FIS Ski World Cup Final) and Savognin are all around 20 km away, and can be quickly reached by car or postbus.
There is also the possibility of other winter activities in both Davos and Lenzerheide, e.g., ice skating, curling, walks through the snow, etc. The tobogganing paradise Bergün can also be reached in about 30 minutes.
There is an eclectic mix of hikes and walks you can go on in summer, starting directly from the front door. For example, you can hike from the Albula Valley to Arosa, or enjoy an impressive mountain panorama on the descent from the 2865-m-high Rothorn in Lenzerheide. The nearby towns of Tiefencastel (about 10 km away) and Filisur (about 6 km away) are located on the Chur — St Moritz railway line and are express train stations for the Glacier and Bernina Expresses of the Rhaetian Railway. In front of Filisur is the famous Landwasser Viaduct. In the Albula Valley, below the village, the thermal spa and sauna area, and the adjoining 9-hole golf course in the sub-municipality of Alvaneu Bad are ideal for relaxation. Bathing enthusiasts will get their money's worth at a small bathing lake in Savognin. Those who love active holidays can also enjoy a wide range of activities, such as mountain biking, paragliding, etc. Schmitten is also the ideal base for a variety of motorbike tours.
