This family-friendly house is located in the village of Alvaneu in the canton of Grisons. The village is located at an altitude of 1200 m on the connecting road between Davos and Lenzerheide.
The division of the property into mezzanine floors gives the interior a pleasant atmosphere. There are three double bedrooms here, a bathroom, a shower/toilet, a living/dining area with an open fireplace, and an open gallery above it, facing the living/dining area. With an additional sofa bed, the gallery offers accommodation for up to four additional people, meaning a total of ten people can be accommodated. There is a terrace and a large balcony. An integrated garage and two parking spaces in front of the house offer space for three vehicles. The kitchen, with a three-burner electric oven, dishwasher, fridge with ***freezer and separate microwave, is fully equipped with crockery. The house has electric underfloor central heating.

With its magnificent mountains, the idyllic ski paradise that is the Albula Valley in the canton of Grisons invites you to take a winter holiday. A ski slope suitable for beginners with a ski lift is located on site. The ski resorts of Davos, which are equipped with modern lifts and first-class slopes, as well as the ski regions of Lenzerheide/Valbella (known from the FIS Ski World Cup Final) and Savognin are all 20 km away from the centrally located Alvaneu and can be quickly reached by car or postbus. There is also the possibility of other winter activities in both in Davos and Lenzerheide, e.g., ice skating, curling, snow walks, etc. The access road passing in front of the house can also be used as a toboggan run in winter. The tobogganing paradise of Bergün can also be reached in about 20 minutes. Below the village, you can relax in the thermal bath, with sauna area, in the sub-municipality of Alvaneu Bad, or enjoy some leisurely window shopping in Davos or Lenzerheide and kick back over a cup of tea, a coffee or a "Schümli Pflümli" – coffee with plum brandy.
There is an eclectic mix of hikes and walks you can take in summer directly from the front door. For example, you can walk to the summer pasture above the village, hike from the Albula Valley to Arosa, or enjoy an impressive mountain panorama on the descent from the 2865-m-high Rothorn in Lenzerheide. The nearby towns of Tiefencastel (about 6 km away) and Filisur (about 4 km away) are located on the Chur — St Moritz railway line and are express train stations for the Glacier and Bernina Expresses of the Rhaetian Railway. In front of Filisur is the famous Landwasser Viaduct. Below the village, the thermal bath, with sauna area, and the adjoining 9-hole golf course in the sub-municipality of Alvaneu Bad are ideal for relaxation. Bathing enthusiasts will get their money's worth at a small bathing lake in Savognin. Those who love active holidays can also enjoy a wide range of activities, such as mountain biking, paragliding, etc. Alvaneu is also an ideal base for a varied mix of motorbike tours.

You are welcome to contact us the evening before arrival for an early check-in. Whenever possible, we grant you this service free of charge. Access to the holiday apartment or house is guaranteed from 4 p.m. The check-out time on the day of departure is 9.30 a.m.
Key collection
Our office is in our family business "Bergcafé Aurora" in Lenzerheide. The keys can be handed over daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in our café.
