Lain, Muldain, Zorten – the valley's sun terraces Vaz/Obervaz
Narrow alleyways and traditional farmhouses are what define the tranquil image of the mountain villages of Lain, Muldain and Zorten. They are located on the valley's sun terrace and offer a particularly picturesque backdrop in a snowy mantle. In Zorten, there is also the local museum, which gives you an insight into the former way of life and the development of tourism. The present-day centres of Lenzerheide and Valbella were "Maiensässe" – mountain pastures – in historical times. The farmers of Lain, Muldain and Zorten lived here during the spring and autumn weeks.
